Equus is a crafting project focus in sustainable production. Every product is handmade by me and has the influence of the capulana fabric. It started with the development of social masks and now you can find bags, plushies, accessories, pouches, and handmade soaps!
FASHION DESIGN
Ready-to-wear Collection
This is an academic project done under the masters degree fashion design subject. The goal was to propose a collection inspired by a WGSN trend to a real fashion brand.

Inspired by the elegant independent woman. The challenge is to consolidate the simple silhouette of straight cuts with the small details of ruffles and pleats, that incorporates her feminity and hardworking life. Combining fluid lightweight fabrics with rough crude fabrics, appealing to comfort and easywear.
Accessory Design
The Medusa bag is a piece designed for the fashion design contest "O Bordado de Castelo Branco e a Moda". It combines the traditional embroidery technique in 2D with the crochet technique to make de 3D elements.
It was inspired by the Medusa tale with a twist.
Even though Medusa is a fearful character, she is still a goddess who was cursed and had bad story ending. This project tells a different side of the story, where the cursed is broken and Medusa wakes back up to life in a vernal vibe
